Car Rental Terms
Driver's license and Age Rules
In order to rent CMDR group vehicles, a valid driver's license older than 2 years and at least 23 years of age are required. For SMDR and IWMR group vehicles, a valid driver's license older than 2 years and at least 25 years of age are required. . For FDMR, SVMR and FVMR group vehicles, a valid driver's license older than 2 years and at least 27 years of age are required.
Rent Durations
Minimum renting duration is 48 hours.
Long-term Renting
Minimum renting duration is 30 days. Please call our office for prices and details.
What is included in the price?
Prices on this website include unlimited mileage, technical service expenses, damage liability insurance, theft insurance and %18 VAT. Fuel, personal accident insurance, precautionary financial liability insurance, one-way fee, delivery/pick-up fee, baby seat are not included in the prices.
The vehicles are to be returned with the same amount of fuel written in the contract at the time of delivery. Vehicles returned with empty tanks or less fuel than the amount in the contract are subject to additional service fees.
One-Way Rental
We do not offer one-way renting services. Vehicles picked up in Istanbul have to be returned to Istanbul.
Additional Drivers
In case people, other than the person who rented the car would like to drive the vehicle, their driver's license information should be on the contract as well and this process is subject to additional fees. If this rule is violated, in case of an accident, all insurance policies will be invalid and both the person who rented the vehicle and the driver(s) will be responsible together and in separate. Delivery and Return
BAF Rent A Car, delivers and picks up your vehicle free of charge within Istanbul for rentals of 10 days and more. For rentals of less than 10 days, if requested, delivery service is provided but is subject to an additional fee. For prices and details please call BAF Rent A Car office.
Late Returns
In vehicle returns, up to 2 hours of delay is tolerated and is not subject to fines. Delays over 2 hours are accounted as 1 whole day and additional fees apply.
Payment
The payment in total is paid by American Express, Visa, Eurocard, Master Card, Access or any other known credit card as the contract is prepared.
Traffic Fines
All liabilities and fines due to violation of the traffic rules fall under the renter's responsibility. Elapsed time due to the detention of the vehicles by local and/or official authorities for any reason is considered within the contract duration.
Other Services
Baby seats are provided with notifications 48 hours in advance. For prices, please call your travel agency or BAF Rent A Car office.

Important Notes
In case of theft or any accident, the vehicle should not be moved and the closest police station should be informed in order to obtain necessary theft, accident and alcohol test reports. Otherwise, all insurance will be invalid and any damage including damage to third parties will be collected from the renter.
